VMS makes it easy to profile and manage your video content. Allows you to quickly create and video encode encode profiles
The VMS system is designed around a template-based approach, empowering end users to incorporate their unique data into the system and utilize them as templates.
The VMS offers various working logics to accommodate different content uploading methods:
1. Uploading content to the system via the user interface:
This method is the default option and serves as the primary means of content upload. Even if alternative methods are utilized, content notifications are still managed through the panel.
2. Uploading content to the system via FTP:
By enabling FTP usage, users can conveniently send their content to FTP servers within the system using FTP protocols.
3. Uploading content to the system via an in-house drop folder:
Users have the option to transmit content to a server within their company. However, certain access requirements need to be fulfilled in this case:
-
- Worker servers must have HTTPS access to the VMS API.
- Worker servers must have access to Kafka.
- Drop servers must have HTTPS access to the VMS API
4. Uploading content to the system via on-premises FTP (multiple workspaces can use the same FTP):
-
- Users can leverage an FTP server within their company to upload content to the system. Similar to the previous method, specific access requirements must be met:
- Worker servers must have HTTPS access to the VMS API.
- Worker servers must have access to Kafka.
- Worker servers must have HTTP/S access to the FTP server.
- FTP server/s must have access to the MySQL database.
- VMS APIs must have access to the FTP MySQL.
- VMS APIs must have access to the FTP servers.
- The FTP server must have HTTPS access to the VMS API.
